Terms of Service — Digital News Point (24World Media)

Effective date: 10 October 2026. Publisher: 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, United States. These terms govern use of Digital News Point. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service. Digital News Point is a digital news publication. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service without notice. Content may be updated, corrected, or withdrawn under our corrections policy.

Intellectual property. Site content (text, design, logos, compilations) is owned by or licensed to 24World Media and protected by law. You may read, share links, and quote short attributed excerpts with a link for non-commercial commentary. You may not republish full articles, scrape the site, remove notices, or use content to train systems without a written licence. Third-party material (including embedded videos and licensed images) remains the property of its owners.

Acceptable use. Do not misuse the site: no unlawful, deceptive, indecent, or infringing material; no impersonation; no attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access; no bulk harvesting; no submission of malware or spam through forms. Contact-form messages grant us permission to read, store, and respond. Do not send confidential, medical, financial, or identity documents.

User submissions. News tips and messages do not create a confidential or contractual relationship. We may edit or publish attributed statements sent for the record at editorial discretion. Unsolicited creative material is not accepted.

Third parties. Links and embeds lead to third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers and liability. News is provided as general information on an as-is basis without warranties of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Health and business coverage is not professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from site use is excluded; nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our aggregate liability in connection with the free news service is limited to the amount, if any, paid to use it in the preceding twelve months.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts there, except where consumer law gives you another forum.

Changes and contact. We may revise these terms; the effective date will update. Questions: 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, [email protected]. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.

Accounts and access. This site does not offer public reader accounts at the date of these terms. If account features are introduced, supplemental terms will apply and credentials must be kept confidential. We may restrict access (including by IP or geography) for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Fees. The news service is free to read at the date of these terms. Business services, licensing, and advertising are governed by separate written terms. Introduction of any reader charge would be announced on the site with revised terms before it applies.

Content standards for submissions. Messages and material sent to the newsroom must be lawful and must not infringe rights. By sending material for publication consideration, the sender confirms they are entitled to send it. We acquire no obligation to publish, pay for, return, or keep unsolicited material.

Indemnity. Users who misuse the site or submit unlawful material agree to indemnify the publisher against resulting claims, except to the extent caused by the publisher’s own unlawful act.

Notices and severability. Notices concerning these terms should be sent to the publisher’s postal or email address. Headings are for convenience. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the agreement for general site use; business relationships are governed by their written terms in case of conflict.

Language. These terms are in English. Translations, where provided, are for convenience; the English version governs.

Copyright complaints. Rights holders who believe material infringes their rights should write to the publisher with the work, the location, and contact details. Verified infringing material will be removed or disabled promptly, and repeat infringers’ access may be terminated.

Interpretation. Headings are for navigation. “Including” means “including without limitation”. References to law include successor provisions. A finding that one provision is unenforceable does not affect the rest.

Entire understanding for site use. For ordinary reading and contact, these terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between the reader and the publisher concerning site use. Business, advertising, and licensing relationships have their own written terms, which prevail for those relationships.

Waiver. Failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver of that term or of any later breach. Rights and remedies are cumulative except where a provision expressly states otherwise.

Assignment. Readers may not assign their rights under these terms. The publisher may assign the publication or the business, in which case these terms continue for the successor publisher and readers will be directed to updated publisher details on the site.

Notices. Formal notices should be sent to the publisher’s postal address with a copy by email. Notice is effective on receipt where delivery is confirmed, or after a reasonable delivery period for postal notice to the address stated.

Detailed licence for readers. The reader licence is to access and read the site for personal, non-commercial purposes, to store a transient copy in a browser cache, and to share links and short attributed excerpts as described. Any other reproduction, including republication in newsletters, aggregation products, databases, or model-training corpora, requires a written licence. Requests should identify the material, the intended use, the audience, and the period.

Trade marks. Digital News Point, 24World Media, and associated logos and wordmarks are trade marks or trade dress of the publisher. Use requires written permission except for truthful, nominative references (for example, naming the publication when linking to an article). References must not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation that does not exist.

Linking. Anyone may link to public pages using the article title or a short descriptive phrase. Framing that presents our content as another site’s own, deep-linking that bypasses required notices, or linking in a manner that implies endorsement of unlawful activity, is prohibited. We may request removal of a misleading link, and the request should be honoured promptly.

Availability targets. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Breaking news, security incidents, provider outages, and maintenance may interrupt service. We are not liable for inability to access free content during an interruption.

Survival. Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, indemnity, governing law, and this interpretation section survive termination of site use.

Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations (other than payment for services already received) caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, war, embargo, government action, epidemic, fire, flood, or failure of utilities or common carriers. The affected party will give notice where practicable and resume performance when able.

Order of precedence and construction. Business agreements signed or confirmed in writing prevail over these general terms for the subject they cover. These terms shall not be construed against a party merely because that party drafted them. References to “the site” include successor domains or locations to which the publication moves, provided readers are redirected or notified on the site itself.

Language of notices and disputes. Notices and any proceedings under these terms will be in English, unless a competent forum requires otherwise.
