Digital News Point

News, right to the point.

About Us

Digital News Point is an independent digital news outlet published by 24World Media. Our promise is in our name and our tagline: news, right to the point. We publish original reporting across World, Politics, Business, Technology, Sports, Entertainment, Health, and Science, with a Video desk for official broadcast material. Every story on this site is written by our newsroom, attributed carefully, and checked against at least two reputable sources before publication.

We are a desk-based newsroom. Readers will see bylines such as the Digital News Point World & Politics Desk, the Business & Technology Desk, the Sports & Entertainment Desk, and the Health & Science Desk. A desk byline is not a shortcut. It means the newsroom as a whole stands behind the story: the reporting, the verification, and the correction if we get something wrong. We do not invent reporters, credentials, or quotes. Our corrections policy, code of ethics, privacy policy, and terms are published on this site and apply to every article we release, every day.

Our coverage priorities are practical. In World and Politics, we follow diplomacy, elections, courts, and public policy, with attention to how national decisions affect households. In Business and Technology, we track markets, jobs, prices, consumer technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, labelling company claims as company claims until they are independently verified. In Sports and Entertainment, we cover results, fixtures, signings, releases, and the business of film, television, music, and streaming, without gossip or invented detail. In Health and Science, we read the study behind the headline, state limits plainly, and never present general information as personal medical advice.

Digital News Point publishes for a general audience that wants the facts first, in plain language, without hype. Articles are written to be read on a phone, with short paragraphs, clear subheadings where they help, and images that are relevant, decent, and properly licensed. We do not sell coverage, we do not publish press releases as news, we do not use automated scraping or wire copy without a licence, and we label analysis clearly when we offer it. Video stories use official channel embeds only, with the channel credited in the article, and we never download or re-upload other people’s video.

Digital News Point is published by 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, United States. Editorial contact: [email protected]. If you spot an error, please tell us through the Contact page and include the article link. We would rather fix the record in public than leave a mistake standing. Thank you for reading.

How we verify. A story reaches publication only after a desk has checked the underlying facts against primary material where it exists: official records, filings, study papers, league or agency announcements, and direct statements. Secondary reporting is attributed (“officials said”, “according to the agency”) so readers can see the strength of sourcing for themselves. Where a claim rests on a company’s own announcement, we say so and avoid presenting it as independently confirmed. Where evidence is preliminary, contested, or incomplete, the article says that plainly rather than overstating certainty.

How we handle developing news. Fast-moving stories are updated as confirmed information arrives. Material changes are reflected in the text, and significant corrections carry a visible note under our corrections policy. Headlines are written to match what the article actually establishes; if a headline overstates the reporting, that is an error and will be fixed and noted.

How we choose images. Every article carries a properly licensed image, credited in the attachment record with licence, source, and creator where provided. Images must be relevant to the story, decent, and truthful in caption. We never use indecent, suggestive, or gratuitously distressing imagery, and illustrative or historical images are captioned as such.

Who to contact. Corrections and tips: the Contact page. Business, licensing, and syndication: the Services page. Advertising: the Advertise page. Privacy matters: the Privacy Policy sets out the route. We welcome scrutiny; a news outlet that cannot show its standards should not expect trust.
