Several community organizations are working to ensure no family spends Thanksgiving without a meal.

In Lynn, Brother’s Deli will serve a Thanksgiving meal and offer take-out from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, as it does every year. My Brother’s Table is spending the day handing out to-go meals, which will be available from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Extra meals will be available for people to collect and distribute to neighbors, friends, family members, and others who may not be able to pick up the to-go meals themselves.

Citizens Inn Haven from Hunger will serve a Thanksgiving meal with appetizers and soup at 11 a.m. on Thursday. At noon, the organization will serve a sit-down meal. After the sit-down meal, to-go meals will be available beginning at 12:30 p.m. The non-profit also raised funds to distribute more than 1,600 turkeys to families in need.

North Shore Community Action Programs urged anyone needing assistance purchasing ingredients to cook their Thanksgiving meal this holiday to contact their local food pantry.
