Manchester United could make a surprise swoop for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar this summer, according to The Sun.
The Red Devils are looking for a marquee striker ahead of the summer and they have been linked with several names.
One of those has been Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane. He is reportedly the main striker target for manager Erik ten Hag.
Aside from him, United are monitoring several other targets and The Sun cite that they could make a surprise move for Neymar.
Sheikh Jassim is currently in talks over a takeover and if successful, it is claimed that he could bring Neymar to Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old has had another superb season for Les Parisiens, scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists from 29 matches.
Despite this, the club are willing to sell him due to Financial Fair Play and it is left to be seen whether United make an offer.
Neymar could be signed for around £60 million but his wage demands could be huge. He is already earning £950,000-a-week.
