Arsenal and Manchester United target Gabri Veiga is expected to leave Celta Vigo during the summer transfer window.
The Spanish midfielder has been hugely impressive for the La Liga outfit this term, bagging nine goals and three assists from 29 games.
His progress has caught the eye of Arsenal and United and Celta president Carlos Mourino has admitted that he could leave this summer.
While Celta don’t want to sell him in the next transfer window, there is a low release clause of €40m that could be triggered by interested clubs.
Mourino told Mundo Deportivo: “We don’t want to sell Gabri Veiga, but they are going to buy him from us. And we can’t do anything there.”
Aside from the Premier League duo, Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in signing the highly-rated midfielder this summer.
Veiga is prepared to assess his options at the end of the season and could give importance to playing time over joining a more reputed club.
