Tyson Higgins scored early for the Peabody-Saugus boys hockey squad, but the team met its match against the Beverly Panthers at Endicott College. The final score favored host Beverly, 7-3.

Talk about responding quickly. After Higgins’ goal, Beverly opened things up with a 5-2 lead by the end of the second period. Ethan Haight tucked his hat-trick goal late in the game for Beverly.

Trevor Pacheco dished out two assists for Peabody-Saugus, while goalie Evan Tybinkowski made 53 saves.

Goals were hard to come by in this one, but the St. Mary’s girls hockey team got them when it counted. Vanessa Hall and Bella Freitas each found the back of the net to put a lid on Boston Latin.
