NEW YORK — Giants’ quarterback Tommy DeVito – who went 17-for-21 with 158 yards and a touchdown in a win against Green Bay – wasn’t the only one going viral during ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcast.

DeVito’s agent, Sean Stellato of Marblehead, stole the show. The former Salem High football standout – in his black three-piece pinstripe suit and black hat – watched the action with DeVito’s family.

Stellato, who was inducted into the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame this winter, was the focus of many on social media – as well as ESPN’s camera crew.

Seen kissing DeVito’s father on the cheek during the Giants’ win, it was one of many moments that garnered social media users to do some research.

From his outfits, books, and accomplishments as a football player and agent, Stellato went viral.

Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports wrote, “What a world!” on X, formerly known as Twitter, after discovering Stellato’s North Shore roots. Portnoy grew up in Swampscott.

Even one of the all-time greats, Peyton Manning, said Stellato looked “slimy” as ESPN kept panning towards its newfound focus.

“He looks like Johnny Fontane from ‘The Godfather,’” Manning said on “Manningcast” alongside his brother Eli.

Stellato-based segments appeared on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show, the “Boomer and Gio” radio show, and FanDuel TV’s “Up and Adams,” among others.

The Giants visit New Orleans this Sunday at 1 p.m. as fans anticipate a Stellato appearance.
