Chelsea captain Reece James has no desire to leave the club amid interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The England international has become injury-prone over the last 18 months. He only recently returned from a hamstring issue.
Despite this, he remains highly-rated among European clubs and both City and Madrid are said to be monitoring his situation.
City recently handed a new deal to Kyle Walker, but they have identified James as the successor to the experienced star.
Meanwhile, Madrid see James as a replacement for Dani Carvajal, but it appears the Blues star has no plans of leaving.
James is fully committed to the project at the west London giants and he has no thoughts of considering a new challenge.
The 23-year-old was made the permanent captain of the club last summer and he wants to lead by example by staying put.
Chelsea have had a below-par season and they are currently 10th in the league table with only 16 points on the board.
