Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has agreed to sign a fresh four-year contract with the club, as per The Athletic.
The England international has been a regular starter in the left-back position this term ahead of Tyrell Malacia.
His performances have improved over the course of the campaign and he is now on course for a new contract.
Shaw’s existing deal expires in 15 months and he has now accepted terms to keep him at the club until June 2027.
United are currently in the process of renewing contracts. Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and David de Gea could be next.
Dalot and Rashford are contracted to the club until the summer of 2024 and are expected to sign improved deals soon.
Meanwhile, De Gea has turned down an extension with a pay-cut. Talks are ongoing to find a solution with the Spaniard.
De Gea’s current £375,000-a-week deal expires at the end of the season. The club don’t plan to trigger the 12-month option.
